A wireless display makes this car safety system even easier to install than our typical simple installation. When your car is running and in reverse gear, the system senses obstacles up to 8 feet away.
Audible Alarm When Reversing
As you back up your car, the 4 parking sensors on the rear bumper are sending out ultrasonic pulses and detecting any that bounce back off obstacles. When an obstacle is detected, the parking sensors relay a message to the waterproof controller, which displays your distance from the object on the LCD display and sounds an alarm.
The speaker is on your wireless LCD display, and it beeps at intervals that get shorter and shorter the closer you get to the obstacle. If your vehicle gets within 1 foot of the obstacle, the speaker will beep continuously.
