Capabilities
This car safety system is designed for all cars, trucks, vans, and SUV's. This 4-sensor system with controller and buzzer alerts you of the distance to obstacles behind your vehicle.
How It Works
When you are reversing, the parking sensors on the rear of your vehicle are sending ultrasonic energy pulses and waiting for them to bounce back. If waves are detected bouncing back, they send an alert to the controller unit, which sounds the buzzer to alert you of an obstacle behind your vehicle. The LCD displays the distance to the object behind you.
If the object is distant, intermittent beeps sound, but as you draw closer, the beeps sound more frequently. If you reach a distance within 1 foot of the object, the speaker will beep continuously.
The system gets power from your reversing lights, so there is no power wasted. The system can activate only when your vehicle is in reverse gear.
