Product Introduction
The premium Truck Backup Sensor system alerts the driver to the distance of obstacles behind the vehicle while reversing. It comprises of 4 sensors, a central control processor and a buzzer. The buzzer produces on audible warning inside the vehicle.
How it Works
• When reversing, the 4 rear sensors (in-bumper or brackets) send ultrasonic waves (4 times/second) that detect obstacles behind vehicle. The waterproof controller receives signal & transmits to speaker and Premium LCD.
• Speaker emits long intermittent beeps when objects are within 6-8 feet from vehicle. As vehicle moves closer to obstacle, the beep increases in frequency. When vehicle is 1 foot away or closer from obstacle, the speaker emits a continuous sound.
• Power is supplied by tapping into reverse lights which means that the Truck Backup Sensor is only on when you are in reverse.
